
Dr. Pendleton emphasizes patient comfort and staying current with new dental technology and treatments. He made a commitment 30 years ago when he opened his dental practice in Rockdale not to become outdated. He has attended numerous advanced training courses including those at the renowned Pankey Institute, Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry which requires continuing education to be a member.
Dr. Pendleton received his MAGD (Master Academy of General Dentistry) designation in July 2008. This award requires 1100 hours of continuing education of which 400 hours must be in participation courses. “I want my patients to have access to the best treatment options without having to travel to metropolitan areas to receive them. That is why I have committed myself to hours of study staying informed and trained to offer these services”.
Dr. Pendleton is a graduate of the University of Texas dental school in Houston and has practiced in Rockdale since 1978. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Heart of Texas Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Texas dental association.
Dr. Pendleton and wife, Dana, have three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys time with his wife and family, outdoor activities including biking, running, motorcycling and fishing.
